How to succeed in school part 1

                       How to succeed in school

                                    Part 1

ü  Get organized

ü Use good study habits

ü Learn how to take tests

ü Believe in yourself

Some experts say the difference between good students and poor students isn’t mainly ability. Instead, it’s how students organize themselves to use their abilities. A little organization can produce amazing results!

Get organized:

ü Have a homework agenda or scribbler to keep track of your assignments, and always carry it.

ü Ask the teacher for some outside help When the classroom explanation is not adequate for you.

ü Use scribbles to put your notes in, and keep them organize.

ü Have phone numbers for classmates, especially of one who will be your “homework buddy”. this is someone in your class who collects handouts and assignment’s for you when you are absent for school. You can borrow your buddy notes when you return to school and you can do the same for your friend.

ü Ask questions when you are unsure of something

ü Pay attention in class as it is very easy to let your mind wander. Take notes; concentrate on what is being said: it will be easier to absorb the information being presented.

ü Keep your bookshelf, desk, and kitbag neat.

ü Be prepared for each class, bringing the materials you need to class (including pencil and paper).

Student Success Statement

 Student Success Statement
“Take care and everything else will fall into place.”
Reflection:  Coach David Diamont
Yes I think it’s so true because it means that everything you take care of good will be in a good condition. So worry about your health and not someone else health and everything will be all right. When you take care of your health you will be a good condition and you would not worry about sickness.

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

                               Part 13

If you feel you do not naturally have all those characteristics, then do not despair. Each of them can be accomplished by your own application. You can use meditation and visualization techniques to initiate your vision, and they can certainly be learned both for that purpose and for each step you take to reach your goals. Simply visualize your desired goals, that of being a star student, a champion of doing what is right, and see yourself working hard to become outstanding, and you’re your dreams and vision will materialize as you pursue these objectives. Setting goals and objectives can be a personal or business technique that can be learnt. You can develop inner strength to succeed if you apply yourself to doing just that; that will enable you to recover from setbacks more easily.

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

                           Part 12

What is important to you is that you, as you start to reach milestones in you ambitions, you appreciate. It’s a boost of, course, if others appreciate what you have done too, but appreciating yourself will strengthen your self-belief, and reinforce your determination to succeed. Some of the key characteristics you will find in those who are successful are perseverance, prepared to research, plan and work hard, practice a lot even when things don’t seem to be going well, and an ability to recover and learn from setbacks. At the outset of whatever it is you are trying to succeed in, a strong vision of your future, planning, and setting yourself achievable targets can play an important role.

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

Acquiring the Habits of Highly Successful Students

                         Part 11

Whether studying or in general life, planning is an imperative skills. Here, we must strictly set the hours for studying, and should promote regularity in doing so. Don’t put off your studies to the last moment (just before the test), because in that moment you will be feeling stress and pressure, and both factors will prove disturbing for your learning; that’s the high price of procrastination. During the exam, it’s important to forget about panic and stress.   And if you are planning for your thesis, you may find this post useful.  other planning tip I frequently give is that, when you are assigned a homework, try to solve it as quickly as possible, several days before the required date, but don’t try to complete it perfectly and don’t submit it immediately. I always recommend doing homework early, but deliver it at the last possible day.
